Our Mission, Vision & Core Values
Why do we exist?
KMC exists because we believe that God has called us to care for the community around us and to see it forever changed by sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
We know that life is hard and each of us gets pulled in a hundred different directions everyday. Without having a focus to cling to or a foundation to stand on we end up in places we never wanted to be; struggling for ways to get out of a life we never wanted to live.
Jesus changes things. He offers us a way out, a hope for the future that we didn’t have before. He offers to be our focus and our foundation so that we might better withstand the pressures of life.
We believe that it is through this life changing relationship that you will be able to fully experience the life that God has for you and that it will be better than you can possibly imagine.
How do we behave?
As John 13:34-35 states: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Furthermore, in Matthew 28:19 Jesus tells his followers: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
In everything we do we strive to love one another first and foremost and work together to accomplish our goal, which is to love our community. We do this by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ as he commanded all of his followers to do.
